I am launching this site and scholarship on what would have been my mother's 70th birthday. After my mother passed, among her things, I found what I consider to be some really cool vintage clothes. Most of them I'd never seen her in. They had been packed away in plastic and carefully preserved. I realized that my mother was a fashionista in her own right. I knew I wanted to do something with them but I wasn't quite sure what. As my mother grew older, she became quite reclusive and  many people didn't get to see how amazing she was. I decided that I wanted to, if I could, show the world how beautiful she was through the fashions I found in her closet. I selected five outfits. Most of the clothes are from the 70's (I think). The majority of the accessories in the pictures are hers as well. She left me quite an extensive collection. I'm taller than my mother, so I couldn't wear her pants and shoes. Except for a pair of brown leather and suede boots I forced my feet in. I'm pleased with the way the shoot turned out. I hope you enjoy it as well. Click the photos to make them larger.

THANK YOU
